all the power cords are off the floor and against bloomberg's advice the air conditioners have been removed from the windows. i think i may tape the blinds over the windows to slow down the glass shards when the patio furniture on the abandoned deck across the courtyard starts flying into my bedroom window...

it's now time for the dogs' last walk of the night. i hope my boots have dried out from earlier...i had to empty them on the streets 2 times before we made it back...

Why did bloomberg suggest you not remove airconditioners from the windows? That seems strange.
